Introducing the Hysucat commercial workboat, a specialized project I developed in 2019. Built upon an advanced Hydrofoil Supported Catamaran hull, my primary challenge as a Yacht exterior designer was to create a superstructure that strictly adhered to aluminum manufacturing constraints while breaking the mold of conventional commercial aesthetics. I aimed to design a bold profile that immediately stands out from its competitors. Because its core purpose is commercial utility, functionality was paramount; therefore, I meticulously engineered the exterior to facilitate effortless side boarding and disembarking for passengers. Showcased here as the vibrant "H2Otaxi," this project proves that a rugged, purpose-built aluminum workboat can still possess a highly distinct, dynamic, and user-centric design language.
